Last nite, I had a weird dream. The thing about this dream is that it feels so real that I can even wake up reminiscing it. The thought of that (reminiscing) makes me shudder. *Burrr...* I dreamt that I was like comfort food to a guy friend of mine. I wasn't even close to him to begin with. We are juz acquaintance.

He was depressed over a past r/n & I so happen to be there.
Yes, u muz be cursing rit...
Y am I always ard guys like that? (It's a dream, dude!)
Y am I dreaming of guys who have been hurt?
I am also wondering y can't I dream of guys to take care of me instead? I was also hurt b4.
(I guess I muz have recovered & wanna let my maternal instinct take over? Muahahah... )

We weren't alone in the 1st plc. We had common frenz & we are at a gathering. Somehow the frenz stepped off for a short while. I don't know if he is drunk cuz I dun rem us ordering alcohols. He came up behind me, saying, "Pls... Juz for a while..." 
Then,he grabbed me from behind & gave me a tight hug. I guess I muz have relented & I dun understand why I din retaliate. We are not the see eye-to eye kind of acquaintance. I guess it muz have been the doing of being the nice 'tiantian' & all... * Not me *
The embracing grasp was relatively brief as he probably sense that the rest will be back.
He said, "U are a great comfort to most guys" to end it off. (Or something along that line, can't rem the exact words.) I wish I cud give him a punch b4 I woke up. Or at least let me screw him bad so that he knows that I am NOT juz good at being comfort food. (I mean in my dreams literally) * Sigh *

Aft I woke up, I cudn't shake off the dream. It was so vivid & I am scared.
I am not a comforter; I dun wanna be juz comfort food to anybody.

I ended up with Tues Blues, feeling all lousy (Juz aft the 3 off days nuahing at home).
I dunno. Is it becuz of the movies I watched over the long weekend?

For various reasosns, I don't have the habit or mood in celebrating vday.
Aside from the fact of not having a valentine, I spent most of my vday celebrating friendship day & for many a years, I just can't be bothered anymore.

I rem not long ago, someone told me I am no longer 18 yr old & that I shouldn't be too picky on certain things. Sometimes mum will also nag. Good friends also have very good intentions to match me up with some other friends.

My best friend has always wanted to show me her "brother".
She always says he is the most eligible bachelor around.

So on 14 Feb 2009, for the first time, I decided to do something different. So after meeting up with an old fren & did some crazy shopping, 2 days after incidentally meeting my best fren & her bro for dinner, I decided to tag along to spend some happy hours after dark on sat. (Not really becuz I am fond of him, but simply out of fun.)

I wasn't too comfortable with the idea initially. I guess she must have sensed that too... I can feel her looking out for me at the bar. After leaving school, I have not gone to any pub or club anymore. Life has always been boring for me with quite a bit of restrictions at home. Plus I seem to prefer to chill out at cafe, more than at a pub. I always feels that a pub is a place where ppl "xiu" their social skills. I prefer a more relax place like a cafe. But of cos, no pain no gain. You don't often get to know a boy in a cafe, don't ya?

Coincidentally, this "brother" of hers looks & sounds like a sec sch classmate of mine. U muz be thinking - great! I should be having more topics to chat about or feel more familiar or so. But on the countary, it didn't go that well... First, I wasn't on such a good term with this sec sch fren in the 1st place. I don't recall any day of him not teasing me. He always gives me that chilly look. I simply hate his guts for nuts. Perhaps because of this, I remain very quiet thruout both meetings. I guess he muz be quite turned off by that. He did try to make conversations but they didn't last. Let's just say we don't have common topic, such a waste, we just bu lai dian. So I guess - Yap! That's the end of the story for now... Haha... Unless miricle happens...

Of cos, the event is graced by some other frenz of their, a whole bunch of guys & gals that I do not know. This is very difficult for me becuz if there is a leng chang, I simply cannot jump out of my ninja turtle shell. That is what happen initially - me hiding in a corner. Luckily, after all the ppl arrive, we found a good table & started playing some games... Some guys suggested playing guessing fingers game in a group. Along the way, they decided to add more rules to the game, like no "I, You, Me, He, She, They" then followed by no Singlish. It was such a torture becuz it's already past midnight & after a few drinks, I muz have shut down already. I couldn't even count the total no. of hand & got dump into drinking a forfeit once. Some guys finally gave up as they couldn't get the gals to talk as the more we talk, the more we wrong, the more we have to drink. So he said it has become a very anti-social game as opposed to what he wanted to achieve in the beginning - to break the ice. After the restriction is lifted, we heaved a big sigh of relief & are all so tired from it. All of us take turns to visit the washrooms. This 1st game is like a warm-up, we are still very unfamiliar with each other.

The second game is introduced by a gal. It's call the "toilet game". Initially I tot it's another hard game like the 1st one, but it turned out quite fun. We take turns to draw poker cards from a shuffled stack. All 1 - 5 cards are drinking cards. Red cards - you make others drink the no. of sips indicated on the card. Black cards - you have to down your own. The 6 cards are thumb cards - you get to keep them until you use them. Once you flash your thumb while the game is still running, you have to observe who is the last to respond. He/She will be forfeited to drink. All 7 cards are "toilet" cards - they give you the power to go to the washroom. Hahaha... All 8 cards are rhyme cards - You have to start a word & the next person have to come up with a rhyming word until someone is stuck, he/she gets to drink. The hardest word so far is "hippopotamus". All 9 cards are topic cards - you start a topic & the one who get stuck will have to drink. i.e. brands of handphone. I gave a very mean one - places of interests in sg. Another gal more mean than me - name of PMs in sg. All 10 cards are rule cards - means you get to set a rule for one round. I made all of them do star jumps at 2am! Hahaha...

This 2nd game lasts us thru pub closes! At the end, I manage to get the waiter to help us take photos. He even ask me what is the game we are playing! Haha...
No prizes for guessing - no, I didn't get or want his no.

I have seriously warned myself against plunging into a relationship that heads nowhere. Thus I strongly believe the guys should make the 1st move w/o misleading the gals. As the saying goes, the worst thing in life is seeing the one you love with the one they love... & what's worst is you'll always love the one who leaves you & leaves the one who loves you... That's why I rather choose to be loved than to love someone again.
